HCDS WEBINAR: Dealing with the Human Vampire

Dear staff and students,

Following on the success of our earlier free public mental health webinars, we are proud to bring you our next webinar titled Dealing with the Human Vampire on Thursday, 6 May 2021, from 2.00 pm – 3.30 pm (GMT/UTC +8).

In this webinar, conducted by our certified university counsellors, Dorety Panggil and Jessica Akang, we will focus on the effects of being around human vampires, a.k.a. toxic people, and strategies to deal with such people to maintain our mental and physical wellbeing.

People occasionally say rude or hurtful things they don’t mean. No one feels their best all the time and being in a bad mood can make you lash out, but they may not realise the negative impacts it may have on others. Sometimes simply being more aware of how a toxic person’s behavior can affect you can help you better navigate interactions with them.

This webinar is open to the public and participation is free-of-charge. If you’re interested to join, please register at this link: https://forms.gle/nfGFnVkKW87Q2pw3A
