Curtin Career Fair to connect job-seekers with 46 potential employers nationwide
Posted date:Miri – 19 October 2015 – Students and alumni of Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) and other institutions of higher learning in Miri, as well as working adults looking to advance their careers, can meet with representatives of leading employers nationwide and find their dream jobs at the university’s Curtin Career Fair 2015 on 22 to 23 October 2015.
Themed ‘Take Charge! Be a Game Changer’, the fair organised by the Career & Alumni Services section of Curtin Sarawak’s Department of University Life will be held in the university’s Recreation and Event Centre from 10 am to 4 pm on both days.
Admission is free and potential employees are advised to bring along their resumes, cover letters, transcripts and other related documents for on-the-spot interviews.
The event is also a platform for job-seekers to find out more about developments in the various industries and career opportunities in the participating organisations.

The Curtin Career Fair is one of the biggest events in Curtin Sarawak’s calendar of events and manages to draw a substantial number of employers from both East and West Malaysia, as well as Singapore, each year. For the participating organisations, it is an opportunity to promote their respective industries and organisations to a wider market, in addition to attracting potential employees.
