Curtin Sarawak is Curtin University’s largest overseas campus and one of Malaysia’s leading internationally-minded tertiary institutions. It provides an affordable, quality Australian education and a global learning experience in a unique Malaysian setting and the courses it offers are identical to those offered by Curtin’s main campus in Perth, Western Australia. Degrees are also awarded by the main campus.

It has a 1,200-acre garden campus and boasts close to 4,000 students from over 45 countries. Highly-qualified academic staff from some 15 countries further strengthen its international outlook.

Curtin Sarawak holds Tier 5 or Excellent ratings from the Ministry of Education for overall quality and its engineering programmes. It is one of only eight universities in Malaysia granted self-accreditation status by the Malaysian Qualification Agency.

Curtin University, meanwhile, was recently ranked equal 10th in the world for international outlook, and one that is now recognised as being in the top two per cent of universities in the world, having risen more places in the latest rankings of international universities than any other Australian university.

Curtin Sarawak offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business, commerce and humanities, engineering, science and technology, in addition to courses at pre-university level that feed directly into the undergraduate programmes. Courses benefit from the input of industrial and professional bodies and undergo regular review.

The accounting, finance, business administration, engineering and science programmes are especially popular. Demand for niche subjects like applied geology, petroleum and environmental engineering is growing.
