Course previews, academic talks and more at Curtin Discovery Day this 15 February

Miri – 13 February 2014 – Potential students attending the Curtin Discovery Day on 15 February 2014 organised by Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) will have the opportunity to find out more about the university and its courses as well as the upcoming March intake programmes.

The event will be held at the Curtin Sarawak campus from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm and is open to public.

In addition, there will also be previews on the new Pathway to Foundation programme and the newly introduced course Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental Engineering); financial aid talk by PTPTN and introduction to Curtin Sarawak scholarship scheme; and academic talks.

Students who have a minimum of three credits in SPM are eligible to apply for the Pathway to Foundation programme which upon completion, allows them to continue their Foundation studies at Curtin Sarawak.

School leavers including students who are currently waiting for their STPM results are encouraged to bring along their forecast results for application purposes.

On that day, potential students may also meet and talk to the academics of Curtin Sarawak to find out more about their future career pathways, industry experience and related areas.

On top of that, the Student Recruitment team will also conduct campus tour to introduce the facilities and services available on campus, career and personality tests and course counselling sessions on early bird rebate, siblings discount and more.
