To be held at the John Curtin Building and Harry Perkins Lecture Theatre Foyer at the Curtin Malaysia campus under the theme ‘Step Into Your Future at Curtin Malaysia,’ the two-day event will highlight the Sarawak Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES), giving prospective students and parents the opportunity to explore pathways to quality higher education with financial support opportunities available through the state initiative.

Professor Vincent Lee Chieng Chen, Pro Vice-Chancellor, President and Chief Executive of Curtin Malaysia, said the event reflects the university’s commitment to making quality education more accessible to Sarawakians.
“Education has the power to transform lives, families and communities. Through the Sarawak FTES and our globally connected learning environment, we want students to realise that a world-class education is within their reach right here in Sarawak,” he said.
He added that the open day is designed to help students make informed decisions about their future studies and careers.
“This is more than just an open day. It is an opportunity for students and parents to experience university life firsthand, engage directly with our academics and students, and discover how Curtin Malaysia can help shape their future ambitions,” he said.
Visitors will be able to explore academic offerings across the Faculty of Engineering and Science, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Humanities and Health Sciences, as well as the School of Pre-U and Continuing Education (SPACE).
