Curtin Malaysia, PERKESO join forces to connect job seekers with over 50 employers at Careers Fair 2026
Posted date:Miri, Sarawak – 7 August 2026 – Thousands of job seekers, fresh graduates and students are expected to benefit when Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) and the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO), through its MYFutureJobs platform, bring together nearly Over 50 leading employers for the Curtin Malaysia x MYFutureJobs Careers Fair 2026 on 13 and 14 August.
The two-day careers fair, to be held at Curtin Malaysia’s Recreation & Event Centre in Miri, marks a new chapter for one of northern Sarawak’s largest annual recruitment events. While Curtin Malaysia has organised the fair for more than a decade, this is the first time it is being held in collaboration with PERKESO’s national employment platform, MYFutureJobs, significantly expanding opportunities for both employers and job seekers.
Open to the public, the fair aims to connect graduates, experienced professionals, career changers and students with employers offering full-time positions, management trainee programmes and internship opportunities across a broad range of industries.
Visitors can look forward to diverse opportunities tailored to every skill level, and take advantage of on-the-spot interviews, resume reviews, career consultations and networking opportunities with employers from sectors including engineering, energy, oil and gas, aviation, digital technology, construction, manufacturing, logistics, finance, accounting, healthcare, retail and agriculture.
Technology and engineering candidates can connect with representatives from Melexis (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, SCORE EPCC Sdn Bhd, 3A Global Integrated Engineering Sdn Bhd, SLB, Schneider Electric, TKR Engineering Sdn Bhd, and Evol Technologies Sdn Bhd.
For job seekers focused on energy and industrial infrastructure, participating employers include Seacademy Sdn Bhd, Torr Energy Sdn Bhd, VTEB Pinewall Sdn Bhd, Vantris Energy Berhad, Petra Energy Berhad, Petra Resources Sdn Bhd, Raw Energy Sdn Bhd, Sinohydro Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd, China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd, QM Materials (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, ND Paper Malaysia (Selangor) Sdn Bhd, Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd, KOMATSU East Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Pekerjaan Piasau Konkerit Sdn Bhd, and MISARMA Enterprise Sdn Bhd.

Professional services, finance, and accounting institutions attending the fair include CPA Australia Ltd, Great Eastern Life Assurance, KPMG PLT, The Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia, Andy Chia & Co., Crowe Malaysia PLT, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Market Management Services Sdn Bhd, Top Advisors, JS Boom (Public Mutual), and a joint initiative by MICPA and CA ANZ.

The fair will be officially opened by Telang Usan Assemblyman Dato Dennis Ngau on Thursday, 13 August, at 10.30 am.
Curtin Malaysia Pro Vice-Chancellor, President and Chief Executive Professor Vincent Lee said the collaboration with PERKESO reflects a shared commitment to strengthening graduate employability and supporting Sarawak’s workforce development.

Through this collaboration, we are helping to build a skilled workforce that will support Sarawak’s and Malaysia’s continued economic growth,” he said.
Manager of Careers and Alumni Relations Chin Li Yen described the partnership with PERKESO and MYFutureJobs as a significant milestone for Curtin Malaysia’s long-running careers fair.

Admission to the Curtin Malaysia x MYFutureJobs Careers Fair 2026 is free and open to everyone, including current and soon-to-graduate students and alumni of Curtin Malaysia, graduates from all higher education institutions, experienced professionals, job seekers and members of the public.
