Curtin Sarawak campus open for walk-in enquiries

Miri – 20 March 2014 – SPM school leavers who wish to enquire about courses offered by Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) as well as enrolment in its current March intake are invited to its campus during office hours on weekdays as well as on two upcoming Saturdays, that is, 22 and 29 March 2014.

The university’s recruitment officers will be on hand to counsel potential students on entry requirements and application procedures, as well as scholarships and study loans available. Students can also find out more about facilities and student life on campus.

Students who have a minimum of three credits in SPM (including English and at least passes in five subjects) are eligible to apply for the Pathway to Foundation programme, which upon completion, allows them to continue their Foundation studies at Curtin Sarawak. The Pathway to Foundation programme will commence on 7 April 2014.

Curtin Sarawak offers Foundation courses leading to its Bachelor degrees in Commerce, Business Administration, Commerce, Arts (Mass Communication/Borneo Studies), Engineering, Science and Technology. The deadline to register for the Foundation programme is 28 March 2014. More information on the courses offered is available at www.curtin.edu.my/courses/.

Meanwhile, SPM or STPM school leavers who do not meet the English entry requirement for admission purposes can enrol in the Intensive English Programme (IEP) which will also commence on 7 April. Upon completion, the STPM school leavers are eligible to enrol in any undergraduate course of their choice in the August 2014 intake.
