Find out about studying at Curtin campuses at events in West Malaysia in January
Posted date:Miri – 5 January 2015 – Curtin University will be holding ‘Curtin University Sessions with Parents’ and ‘Curtin University Information Day’ events in various locations in West Malaysia this January. They will be opportunities for potential students to learn more about studying at the university’s campuses in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.
The ‘Curtin University Sessions with Parents’ will take place at the StudyExcel branch offices at No. 26-1, Jalan Chung Thye Phin, Ipoh, Perak on 10 January; No.39, Nagore Road, Penang on 18 January; No.1, Jalan SS 15/7, Subang Jaya, Selangor on 25 January; and No. 18-01 & 18-02, Jalan Austin Heights 3/2, Taman Mount Austin, Johor Bahru, Johor on 31 January.
They will be from 10 am to 5 pm in all the locations and will include counselling sessions and career and personality tests. Representatives from Curtin University’s main campus in Perth and its branch campuses in Sarawak and Singapore will be present at all the events.
Meanwhile, the ‘Curtin University Information Day’ events will also be held in the same cities – at IBIS Hotel, Ipoh on 11 January; Sunway Hotel, Penang on 17 January; Empire Hotel, Subang Jaya on 24 January; and KSL Hotel, Johor Bahru on 30 January. All the events will be from 10 am to 5 pm.
In addition to briefings on Curtin University and transfer to Curtin’s campuses in Perth, Sydney and Singapore, the Information Day events will also include talks on topics such as ‘What is Engineering?’ and ‘Wealth Management’, as well as motivational talks.
