Meanwhile, in the Futsal court, the agility, precision, and quick thinking of the Curtin Futsal team, Curtin United, was a testament to the hours of practice and dedication invested by the players, resulting in thrilling matches that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats.

The success of Curtin Malaysia’s teams went beyond the scoreboard, reflecting the university’s commitment to the holistic development of its students. MASISWA 2023 not only provided a platform for athletic competition, but also emphasised the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline.

“We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements in the basketball, volleyball, and futsal tournaments,” said Professor Simon Leunig, Pro Vice-Chancellor, President and Chief Executive of Curtin Malaysia.
