Curtin Malaysia Careers Fair to connect graduates and job seekers with 53 leading companies

Miri – 21 August 2023 – Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) is hosting its annual Curtin Malaysia Careers Fair, a highly anticipated event that provides a platform for soon-to-graduate students, alumni and job seekers in the community to connect with leading companies and employers, on 20 and 21 September 2023.

The fair is set to host an impressive lineup of 53 organisations from Malaysia and Singapore, making it one of the largest careers fairs to be hosted by the university to date, offering a plethora of exciting opportunities for career advancement and growth. This includes internships, management programmes, and both part-time and full-time job placements.

Taking place at Curtin Malaysia’s Recreation & Event Centre, from 10 am to 4 pm on both days, the Curtin Malaysia Careers Fair 2023 will create a dynamic environment where students, alumni, and job seekers can engage directly with industry professionals. This event will serve as an excellent avenue for attendees to gain insights into various industries, explore career prospects, and build valuable connections with potential employers. Attendance is free of charge.

The participation of 53 prominent companies and employers highlights the significance of the Curtin Malaysia Careers Fair as a premier recruitment and networking event. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with top-tier organisations from a variety of sectors, including banking and finance, technology, engineering, manufacturing, plantations, retail, oil and gas, and many more. The Curtin Malaysia Careers Fair 2023 will offer a range of activities designed to support the career development of attendees. They will have the chance to engage in networking sessions, attend industry-specific workshops, and participate in interactive panel discussions featuring experienced professionals from different sectors.

These activities aim to equip attendees with the necessary skills, knowledge, and connections to excel in today’s competitive job market. Next to its Curtin Malaysia Open Day, the Curtin Malaysia Careers Fair has been one of Curtin Malaysia’s biggest and most-anticipated annual events since 2010. Each year, upwards of 500 job-seekers would visit to explore career pathways and job opportunities.
