Curtin Malaysia Library opening its doors to Form 5 students sitting for SPM

Miri – 21 February 2023 – The Library at Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) is opening its doors to Form 5 students in Miri, particularly those in the Senadin and Lutong areas who are preparing for the upcoming Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.

The Library at Curtin Malaysia, which is modern and spacious and equipped with the latest technologies including high-speed Internet, will be a conducive space for the students to study either individually or in groups. It has an extensive collection of printed and electronic books, journals and magazines, as well as computer labs, an audio-visual room and quiet study spaces.

The Library will be available to the students from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday from 20 February 2023 to mid-March.

It is an initiative by Curtin Malaysia’s Library and Learning Commons and Domestic Student Recruitment departments as part of the university’s ongoing community engagement initiatives. It is hoped that with this support from the university, Form 5 students in Miri will do exceptionally well in the SPM.
