Curtin Sarawak launches Early Bird Payment & Installment Schemes
Posted date:MIRI, 4 July 2006 – As part of its community relations programme and in pursuance towards its commitment to be a responsible corporate citizen, Curtin University of Technology Sarawak (Curtin Sarawak) is offering an early bird payment & instalment schemes to its upcoming July/August 2006 intake for Undergraduate, Foundation and Diploma students.
Professor Ruth Marquis, Dean Curtin Sarawak said, “The Early Bird Scheme is only applicable to students who have gained official admission to Curtin Sarawak’s academic programmes. A rebate of RM200 will be extended to all newly registered students upon full payment of course fees.”
To qualify for the RM200 rebate, full payment of course fees for Foundation and Diploma programmes are to be made by Friday, 14 July 2006.
In addition to the Early Bird Scheme, a new installment scheme has also been introduced for all potential and existing Malaysian students.
Professor Ruth Marquis said, ”This new installment scheme will certainly ease the financial burden of parents and covers all courses except IEP and MBA (part-time) However, PTPTN students and approved scholarship holders will not be eligible for this installment scheme.”

Curtin Sarawak’s next intake will be in July/August 2006, and recruitment sessions are currently ongoing throughout the region. On campus educational counselling sessions are also available from 8.30 am until 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday) and from 9:00am until 1:00pm (Saturday).
