Professor Dominique Jolly joins Curtin Sarawak Research Institute, research to focus on business sustainability

Miri – 26 June 2012 – Curtin Sarawak Research Institute (CSRI) is pleased to announce that Professor Dominique Jolly from SKEMA Business School in France has become a Visiting Professor of the Institute.

CSRI is a multi-disciplinary research institute at Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) committed to collaborating with distinguished professors from around the world to achieve its vision of being a world-renowned research organisation focusing on the needs of the region.

Professor Jolly’s scholarship includes Business Strategy and Management of Technology and Innovation. He has written extensively on inter-firm alliances, technology sourcing, technology assessment, and competitive uses of technology in enterprises.

His recent research interest is in the management of Sino-foreign joint ventures and he recently wrote a book on “Doing Business in China”.  At CSRI, Professor Jolly’s research will focus on business sustainability and he will be working with Curtin Sarawak’s School of Business to further strengthen the research capabilities and strengths of the campus.

“I am delighted to welcome Professor Jolly to CSRI. His experience and insights into strategic and management approaches that drive businesses will add to the diverse talent-base that we have here at Curtin Sarawak. I believe that he will further increase the impact of CSRI’s research on the sustainable development of the region,” said Professor Aaron Goh, Director of CSRI.
