Curtin Malaysia holding Curtin Info Day at its campus on 9 March

Miri – 4 March 2019 – School leavers in Miri interested to enrol in Foundation and degree programmes at Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) are invited to attend the upcoming Curtin Info Day at the Curtin Malaysia Campus on 9 March 2019, from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm.

The Curtin Info Day aims to provide school leavers and their parents with all the necessary information required regarding admissions, courses, loans and scholarships.

The intake for Curtin Malaysia’s March 2019 Foundation programme is now in progress with classes commencing on 25 March 2019. Those interested to apply for the next undergraduate intake in July are also encouraged to attend.

School leavers are advised to bring along their actual or forecasted results for on-the-spot evaluation and applications. The first 10 who attend and enrol on the day will receive complimentary AirAsia e-vouchers worth RM100 each.

Lecturers from the faculties of Engineering & Science, Business, and Humanities will also be available to help them make informed decisions about career pathways, courses and enrolment.

There also be a talk entitled ‘Explore Engineering and Science’ by academics from the Faculty of Engineering & Science from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon, interactive activities conducted by academics of the Faculty of Humanities from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm, and a sharing session by alumni of the Faculty of Business from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

Attendees should also take the opportunity to find out about scholarships and study loans available. They include the newly-introduced Curtin Malaysia 20th Anniversary Scholarships for study in Foundation and selected undergraduate programmes, Curtin Malaysia Merit Scholarships, Yayasan Sarawak Scholarships, and PTPTN study loans.

All activities will take place in the Council Room on the first floor of the John Curtin Building (Heron 1). Attendees can enquire at the lobby reception counter for directions.

In addition, there will be guided tours of the campus.
