Curtin Malaysia invites potential students to its Academic Open Day
Posted date:Miri – 8 July 2019 – School leavers interested in enrolling in degree or foundation courses at Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia), particularly for its current July/August (Semester 2) 2019 intake, are invited to find out more at its Academic Open Day on 13 July 2019.
The event will be held at the Imperial Palace Hotel, Miri (Melinau Room 4) from 10 am to 5 pm and attendance is free of charge.
Classes for undergraduate degree courses start on 29 July 2019, while foundation classes will start on 13 August 2019, so those who wish to enrol should take this opportunity to get the necessary information and submit applications.
SPM, STPM, UEC, O-Level and A-Level leavers are advised to bring along their actual or forecasted results for on-the-spot evaluation and applications. Those who qualify and apply on the spot stand a chance to receive complimentary AirAsia e-vouchers worth up to RM300.
They will be able to find out about the fields of study and specific courses at Curtin Malaysia from student recruitment staff and lecturers to make informed decisions regarding choice of course and enrolment. In addition, aspects such as facilities and campus life, scholarships and student loans, and career prospects in different disciplines, will be highlighted.
Through the use of virtual reality, they will be able to take a virtual tour of Curtin Malaysia to get a glimpse of its facilities and life at the campus. However, if actual tours of the campus are preferred, they can be arranged for a later date.
Curtin Malaysia offers world-recognised Curtin courses, at both undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels, in engineering, science, technology, business and the arts, as well as foundation courses that feed directly into its undergraduate programmes, and an Intensive English Programme (IEP).
