Posted date:Miri – 23 February 2016 – Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) will be holding ‘Application Day’ events at the Miri Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) every Saturday from 27 February to 26 March 2016.

Potential students and their parents are also welcome to visit the Curtin Sarawak campus for walk-in enquiries and tours of the campus between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Mondays to Fridays, or from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm on Saturdays.
Curtin Sarawak holds such student recruitment events in Miri and other locations prior to the start of each new semester so that potential students and their parents can get the information and counselling they need on courses offered, entry requirements, career pathways, scholarships and loans, to make informed decisions about enrolling at the university.
Potential students can also enquire about Curtin Sarawak’s Merit Scholarships for those with outstanding results in the SPM, STPM, O-Level, A-Level and UEC examinations. Designed in consultation with schools and community and business organisations, the scholarships aim to reward academic excellence among students from all backgrounds, enabling them to realise their potential and graduate with high practical employability.
Curtin Sarawak is the largest international campus of Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. With close to 4,000 students from over 45 countries, it is one of Malaysia’s most internationally-minded tertiary institutions. Highly-qualified academic staff from some 15 countries further strengthen its international outlook.
As a full-fledged branch campus of Curtin University, Curtin Sarawak offers identical programmes and degrees as its Australian parent, which means students can expect the same level of teaching and learning as their Australian counterparts, use the same academic calendar, unit structures and study materials, and receive a degree that is awarded directly by the main campus.
