Curtin Malaysia organising bowling night for its new Foundation students

Miri – 14 September 2017 – New Foundation students of Curtin University, Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) who are keen to unwind or get to know their fellow course mates are invited to join a friendly bowling event, the 4th Fun-Nation Bowling Night, this 15 September.

Hosted by the university’s Curtin Bowling Club, University Life Department and Sports and Recreation Services section, it will take place at Megalanes East Bowling Centre, Bintang Megamall Miri from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Participation is free for all new Foundation students of the university and transport and refreshments will be provided.

According to the advisor of the Curtin Bowling Club and associate lecturer of engineering mathematics Jameson Malang, the event aims to introduce bowling as a healthy sporting and social activity to the Curtin Malaysia community, and also provide an opportunity for the students to interact and adapt to the university environment.

Attractive prizes are up for grabs in both the individual and group categories of the competition. Hampers and trophies will be awarded to the top three groups and participants will also be eligible to win trophies for Best Male and Best Female players.
