Curtin Student did it again!

Third-year Chemical Engineering Chan Kwai Hong of Curtin Sarawak has won first-runner up in Technical Essay Writing Competition at the National Chemical Engineering Symposium 2008 (NACES) held at University Putra Malaysia, Serdang.

There are two categories of this competition; Power point Technical Presentation and Technical Essay Writing Competition.

A total of four hundred and eighty delegates from twelve public and private universities take part at the event.

Industry professionals and academicians are also invited to give talk and forum related to the field.

According to Director School of Engineering, Dr. Chua Han Bing, “Through this event, students has benefited a lot through presentation and exchange of their ideas, research and solutions to pressing global challenges, with input and feedback from industry professionals and academicians from chemical engineering field.”

NACES is an annual gathering of chemical engineering undergraduates from both public and private universities from all over Malaysia. Its objective is to enhance inter-racial unity among all chemical engineering undergraduates.
