Find out about Curtin Malaysia at education events across Malaysia

Miri – 3 December 2019 – School leavers interested to get an affordable Australian education at Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) are invited to meet recruitment officers of the campus, Curtin University’s largest international campus and global campus in Asia, at upcoming education events across Malaysia to find out more.

Following various events in Miri in November and over the last weekend, the campus is intensifying its recruitment drive in other locations in Sarawak, Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia ahead of its February-March (Semester 1, 2020) intake.

December recruitment events where Curtin Malaysia will be represented include the JS Study Education Fairs at Premier Hotel in Klang on 4 December, and at the Palm Hotel in Seremban on 6 December; FSI Education Fairs at Eastin Hotel, Penang on 8 December, and at the Syuen Hotel in Ipoh on 9 December; Istudy Education Fair at Grand Paragon Hotel in Johor Bahru on 13 December; and the FSI Education Fair, also at the Grand Paragon Hotel, Johor Bahru, on 14 and 15 December.

Curtin Malaysia will also be present two of the country’s major education fairs – Sureworks Education Fair at MidValley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur on 7 and 8 December, and the Star Education Fair at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang on 14 and 15 December.

School leavers are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to meet with the recruitment officers and get all the information they need regarding courses and enrolment. They are advised to bring along their examination results and supporting documents for on-the-spot assessments and applications.

They should also take the opportunity to find out more about the Curtin Malaysia Merit Scholarships for SPM, STPM, UEC, O-Level and A-Level school leavers, as well as other financial aid available to new students.

Curtin Malaysia offers Curtin courses in engineering and related sciences, business and humanities, as well as one-year foundation courses that feed directly into its undergraduate programmes. All the engineering courses are double accredited by Engineers Australia and the Board of Engineers Malaysia, while the Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering is further accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineering (ICHemE), United Kingdom.

The business courses, meanwhile, are all accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and professional bodies nationally and internationally.
