Curtin Sarawak Presents More Excellent Awards

MIRI, 27 October 2005 – In line with its commitment towards educational excellence and as part of its community relations programme, Curtin University of Technology Sarawak (Curtin Sarawak) presented on 22 October 2005, two (2) Excellence Awards to SPM students from SMK St. Joseph.

The awards were presented on behalf of Curtin Sarawak by Associate Professor Dr Rozz Albon, Director of Teaching and Learning, Curtin Sarawak to students Emily Ng Ming Choo and Wun Shun Jie of SMK St. Joseph.

Introduced in 2004, the Curtin Excellence Award programme forms part of Curtin Sarawak’s community relations programme to foster and enhance the current existing cordial relationship with schools in this region and to attract quality students. Fourteen SPM students from six secondary schools in Miri who have scored excellent academic results received Curtin Excellent Award this year.
